I feel I am cheating you with a lot of unfinished blogs, replacing them with posts of photos and videos hoping they will tell a captivating story.
The truth is, I am in a transformational period. The butterfly is flying and for the first time, in years, all of the hard work is starting to pay off. As I watch everything fall into place, I reflect back on my internal dialogue in Caused A Scene . There were no guaranties, but my instincts were telling me "You are about to feel okay. Brace yourself..."
With every dedication, every thought going into each blog, I relied deeply on processing heavy moments.
How does one begin to process a writing transformation when I, myself, am still trying to process this new beginning?
What is this new beginning? It is stepping into a new realm of peace. This is a moment where I can honestly look everyone in the eye and say, "I'm in a good place."
And again, there is so much to write about, so much to tell you, and yes, some of it still stems from coming out of those heavy moments that were there only a few months ago. But, before I get to that, I need to take a moment to share with you that not only am I now okay, but things are moving forward and upward.
Consider this my testimonial to hard work and self discovery:
It's not always easy and nine times out of ten, there were moments where I felt stuck, lost, and helpless, but working through them, dealing with them, confronting them has now allowed me to come out on the other side. Those moments have allowed a deep level of growth and created opportunities for my work and my values to shine.
And just to give you a little bit of an update of my material-in-progress, my anticipated, unfinished, blogs are the following:
1) My Imperfect Farewell Speech to My Former Colleagues - trying to reduce a 3000 word speech into 800 words is still a bit of a challenge.
2) My First Performance on Stage in Five Years - Still editing and piecing together all of the elements from that natural high.
3) The campaign launch to get "Tempt!" out of post-production is finally happening - very excited about this one!
4) The New Philanthropic Work - beyond exciting!
As you can see, everything is in action at the moment. So, without further ado, I dedicate this blog to all of the hard workers out there who are staying true to themselves. Keep grinding and you will be flying...
...and when you start to take flight, it feels so damn good!
