NYC Skyline from Jersey City

The heart is a strange complex

As redundant as it sounds

There’s no other way to describe it

Once rocky then connected

Our emotions swing back and forth

As the unknown approaches us

A chapter we’ve never thought before

There are highs and there are lows

What life brings is tethered to these flows

The sun now sets on all I’ve ever known

And awaits the black out to take my bow

Acknowledging an end, hoping that an introduction will unfold

Intersection on Upper West Side of Manhattan during Sunset

...And I don't know how to finish this right now
